Key Responsibilies
- Creating and developing original design ideas, concepts, embroideries, fabrications and seasonal themes
- Sourcing of relevant fabrics to meet the design requirements
- Creating specs/tech packs
- Trend packs/colour inspiration
- Managing and developing junior members of the team
- Liaising with account managers and building strong relationships with buyers
- Liaising with factories and overseas offices
- Range reviews with Directors
- Maintaining strong relationship with Buyers
- Work to departmental deadlines and critical paths to ensure product is supplied within an effective timeframe to the customer
- Managing expenses and returns
- Inspiration and sourcing trips, including opportunity for overseas travel
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- 2+ years’ experience in a fashion design role
- Experience working within Menswear/Boyswear highly desirable
- Stong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator (Photoshop a plus)
- Creative and trend driven with an eye for colour and fabric
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A team player who thrives in a fast paced, creative environment
- Open to travel (Leicester & occasional overseas trips)

Roles and Responsibilities

About You
- 3+ years’ experience in a commercial fashion design role (menswear or jersey preferred)

- Willingness to travel to Leicester and occasionally overseas
- Attentive to detail with the ability to think creatively
- Confident, creative, and able to present ideas clearly
